• A delegation of 9 Members of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Trade Committees visited Buenos Aires this week. The delegationparticipated in the G20 Parliamentary Forum organised by the Argentine Congress. In addition, we held talks with representatives of the Argentine government, including Vice-President Gabriela Michetti and the Argentinian chief negotiator for the EU-Mercosur Association Agreement Horacio Reyser, Members of both Houses of Congress, European business associations and civil society. We welcome the creation of a Parliamentary Friendship Group for relations with Europe in both Housesof Congress.
