Foreign Affairs Committee MEPs will hold a debate with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh on Monday afternoon, 12 October, at 14:30 CET.
Mr Shtayyeh has served as Prime Minister of the State of Palestine since April 2019 and is a member of the political party Fatah.

David McAllister, who chairs Parliament’s UK Coordination Group, said the talks have entered a “very crucial phase.”
McAllister’s comments were echoed by European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, who went further, calling into question the UK’s “good faith” in the ongoing talks.
Tensions between the two sides
