EPP leaders to meet for Summit in Brussels ahead of European Council – list of participants

EU heads of state and government, opposition leaders of the European Peoples Party (EPP) and the Presidents of the European Council, European Commission and the European Parliament  Donald TUSK, Jean-Claude JUNCKER and Antonio TAJANI  will participate in the upcoming EPP Summit, to take place in Brussels on 20 June. On the agenda is the preparation for the European Council 20 and 21 June.

EPP President Joseph DAUL will host the Summit. The EPPs Lead Candidate for the 2019 European elections and Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, Manfred WEBER, EPP Secretary General Antonio LOPEZ-ISTURIZ and the members of the EPP Presidency will participate.

Heads of state and government Nicos ANASTASIADES (Cyprus), Boyko BORISSOV (Bulgaria), Klaus IOHANNIS (Romania), Angela MERKEL (Germany), Andrej PLENKOVIĆ (Croatia) and Leo VARADKAR (Ireland) will participate.

Deputy Prime Minister Hugo DE JONGE (Netherlands) and opposition leaders Silvio BERLUSCONI (Italy), Pablo CASADO (Spain), Adrian DELIA (Malta), Frank ENGEL (Luxembourg), Janez JANÅ A (Slovenia), Ulf KRISTERSSON (Sweden), Gabrielius LANDSBERGIS (Lithuania), Jean LEONETTI (France), Kyriakos MITSOTAKIS (Greece), Petteri ORPO (Finland), Grzegorz SCHETYNA (Poland) and Marek VÝBORNÝ (Czechia) will also be present.
