David McAllister MEP: One year of Russia’s war against Ukraine: press seminar with key MEPs

To mark one year since Russia launched its war against Ukraine, Parliament will organise a press seminar with MEPs on Thursday at 09.45 CET.

The online seminar will be split into two panels and address the state of play of the war in Ukraine and what the EU must do to further support Kyiv, as well as the socioeconomic impact of the Russian aggression and the ensuing energy crisis.

The first panel will feature MEPs David McAllister (EPP, Germany), Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Nathalie Loiseau (Renew Europe, France), Chair of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence and the Head of Ukraine’s Mission to the European Union, Vsevolod Chentsov and a question-and-answer session.

MEPs Cristian-Silviu Buşoi (EPP, Romania), Chair of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee and Margarida Marques (S&D, Portugal), Vice-Chair of the Budgets Committee will be on the second panel, which will end with questions and answers.
