Background

During the three-day event, organised jointly by The European Parliament and the European External Action Service, participants will share their experiences and talk about activities in following-up election observation mission recommendations. They will also debate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on elections and on their observation, and discuss online campaigning and election technologies in the electoral process.

The annual gathering brings together the organisations that have endorsed the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and are active in the area of international election observation.
